Drive Test Technician
Our client is a large Telecoms Company, who offers Drive test Technician the opportunity to apply their
expertise on projects for large service providers. The Technician will work in different locations in and
around Gauteng on renewable contracts, depending on the need from client
Job Requirements:
- A+/N+ qualification essential
- Good at troubleshooting
- Someone who has ability to work independently or remotely
- Have an DT experience for more than 3 years
- DT experience and familiar with TEMS/ Probe,
- Know how to make script to make test plan in TEMS (Probe and TEMS)
- Available immediately
Candidate Requirements:
- Basic understand of technology i.e. GSM (G900, G1800), UMTS (U900, U2100) and LTE.1800
- Basic understanding of frequencies in GSM and UMTS layers (F1,F2,F3)
- Know how to perform voice call, FTP upload/download, Http download, ping test.
- Know how to check Ec/Io and RSCP
- Know the meaning of active set and monitor set.
- Know how to check BCCH, BSIC,RxLev, RxQual.
Salary: R6500pm Excl overtime
